WordPress 6.4 explained in 250 seconds

WordPress 6.4 is due to be released on November 7th, 2023 and here is my video outlining the main features 💪👇

• WordPress 6.4 Key Features:
  1. Image Updates: Introduces image lightboxes, previews of images within list view, and background image support for the group block.
  2. Vertical Text Option: A new vertical text orientation is available in the editor, allowing for unique typography layouts.
  3. Easier Block Organization: Users can rename group blocks for better content organization and utilize shortcuts to duplicate blocks.
  4. Aspect Ratio Control: Offers the capability to fix the aspect ratio of featured images to ensure consistent image display.
  5. Block Patterns: Users can now categorize and create their own block patterns, making page layouts more efficient.

Note: The update also introduces a new default theme, the 2024 theme, but some anticipated features like the font library and certain blocks were deferred to WordPress 6.5.
