Video – How to center a logo inside the navigation for WooThemes Canvas

Logo Inside Nav has now been included as a feature inside Menu Customizer! Therefore it is no longer for sale.

There are lots of things we want to do with WooThemes Canvas (and WordPress), but sometimes just don’t have the time, skills or patience!

Centering the logo inside the primary navigation is not possible without some tricky CSS (and even Javascript if you wanted to go that route). That’s why we have developed Logo Inside Nav – our 10th Canvas Extension!

Sheen Design suggested this on our Canvas Extensions Ideas Board with some great examples and it got a few votes, so we decided to do it. It’s a great example of why we started developing Canvas Extensions  – to make it easy for you to do things that are too time consuming or tricky to do on your own.

Anyway, watch the 6 minute video. It explains how easy it is now!

Buy it on our store.

How do you like it? Let me know below!

Will update the blog post! Thanks!!

  3. I have two web sites that are sister to each other… urbancoopcompany.com and urbanchickenranch.com

I was hoping to use this plug-in (bought it) to place a floating “badge” link to the other web site and on the other one, back to its sister. I was imagining it being floating left or right but could live with center.

I use the “logo” field in Canvas for my site design as it is what shows up in responsive mode.

How hard to do something like that NOT using the logo field, but a custom “badge” and have that badge float left or right and have it link back to the other side. Modify what is there? Bespoke custom program fee?

    1. Hi Montie,

There are a few ways you could do this. My best thought is to use the Header widget area to the right of the logo (put the image so it’s on top of the header background image).

In the header widget put an image with a link to the new site.

      Would that work?
