The challenge is to walk the Welsh 3000s. To complete the challenge I need to summit 15 mountains in Snowdonia that are 3000 ft (914.4m) or more (in 1 day).

The length of the Welsh 3000’s from first peak to last is 26 miles, but including the walk to and from any start point, this will total some 30 miles.

I’ll be doing the walk with 4 other brave trekkers. Rosie (my lovely wife), Ali Upham (fellow Kilimanjaro walker), Andrew Peyman (super fit) and Mark Daunter (top man).

We start at the summit of Snowdon at 4am Saturday morning and then walk ..and walk…and walk some more. Training hasn’t quite gone to plan (we haven’t done any) so we are all rather apprehensive. But we will give it our best shot!

Any donations (and prayers) will be incredibly gratefully received.

To donate, please visit my Just Giving page here.

Wish us luck!

Jamie M
