I have recently purchased the canvas theme and am having issues with how videos are being displayed on the blog page. When the blog page is viewed i am presented with a 100 x 100 white box with the word woo on. If this is clicked then I am taken to another page which then displays the video.
Would appreciate if someone could let me how i can either get the video to be displayed or delete the box as it appears regardless of what ever is written.

Do you have a link to the post in question we can see?
Are you embedding the video code or using a plugin?

Thanks for your responxe.
Please find the link below.
I’ve been testing a few of the features in canvas (hence the current design which doesn’t have any particular “flow” at the moment).
As you will the white boxes appear on the left hand side and are clickable but aren’t required.
Hope you can help.

Those are featured images – just upload images in the post where it says featured image. Found on the bottom right of the post editor screen.
Let me know if that works,

Thanks for your response. This page still isn’t working correctly. To give you a bit of background, i initially set up this test site using the 2014 theme and everything was working as planned. I had videos set up on the blog page which were viewable and clickable. When i uploaded canvas that’s when the issues on the blog page started. The white boxes replaced the videos. I’ve just tried to upload a featured image on the blog page and although the post appears the image doesn’t – it’s just the white box ( i also made sure that on the dashboard the image was inserted under view featured image).
To be honest i’d rather not have any image at all on the blog page but it seems no matter what i write it will always insert the white box.

Went into canvas/settings/dynamic images/wp post thumbnail and ticked on.
Now when i post and set a featured image (picture) it appears.
When i tick the option off it still reverts to a white woo box with every post
So, I’mstill left with the problem of having a box (either with an image or not) with each post.

Ok – I ended up contacting Woo to get an answer to this.
Apparently there is an issue regarding version 6.00 which has created this problem- place holders.
In order to rectify you need to go into dashboard/canvas- then click update framework (to version 6.02). It is just a matter of a couple of clicks.
