    Hi

Installed and using this plugin and generally works very well.

I have, however, noticed something strange happening to my full-width site…

When you scroll down and then back to the top again, the navigation bar becomes a fixed width and left aligns putting white space to the right hand side when browser width increases and cutting off the right hand navigation when decreasing…

Any help with this would be much appreciated!

    Hi Rob,

Just checked out the site and it’s working great my end. I am using Google Chrome.

What browser are you having an issue on?

Also – can you check it’s the latest version? v1.0.3

    Hi

I’m using safari and Firefox but also getting the issue on the ipad too. Basically if I use the scroll bar to move to the bottom, then scroll back to the top, then the problem happens when I change the size of the browser width (or change orientation on the ipad) I have tried turning off all other plugins (no joy) and also switching off the sticky nav which solves the problem (but obviously leaves me without the joys of the sticky nav!)…

If you need some screen snaps let me know but I went to the site mentioned in the review on the plugin product page and his site also does the same in safari and Firefox.

    Hope you can help!

    Thanks
    Rob

Here’s a link to the other site that does the same thing http://www.britishphotojournalist.com/
Basically it looks like the problem happens when the nav bar ‘snaps’ back to its position below the header after scrolling)

    Hi Rob,

Screen shots with the info of the browser and device would be really helpful as struggling to re-create this end…

Ok here’s a link to some screenshots. The same issue is happening on Safari 7.0.1, FireFox 21.0 and Chrome 32.0.1700.107.

The first screen shots show the site working at 800px and then at 1280px before I scroll (an engaging the sticky nag).

I then took pics of what happens after the sticky nav is engaged and then returned to its place below the header – notice how the right hand menu items have disappeared top the right on the 800px snap and that the wide browser width starts showing a white space to the right of the nag bar.

I noticed in my web inspector that the nag bar is being given a set width after it stops being sticky in my case the css was showing that the div#nav-container was being set to a width of 1009px.

Here are the pics on Droplr

Ok so adding the following did fix the problem!

    #nav-container{width:98% !important;}

Hasn’t quite fixed the problem as the width for iPad causes problems…
But I think it’s certainly something to do with the #nav-container being set to fixed…

Ok – this is better – if I set it to #nav-container: auto !important; it sorts out everything but the width of the nag bar when sticky. (you can see this on my site now).
