    Hi Jamie

    Hope you are well.

Quick question about using the ‘Portfolio’ Menu.

What am I doing wrong? Three  separate pages in menu navigation:

    /Building
    /Alcoves
    /Kitchens

All Pages set to Template ‘Portfolio’
All have separate category within ‘Portfolio Galleries’
All checked to their own category

The problem is that all images are showing on each other’s page. Is it possible with Canvas to JUST show pictures of ‘building’ on the building page, ‘alcoves’ on the alcove page and so on.

Does that make sense to you? I hope so :)

    Thanks
    Mark

    Hi Mark,
If i understand correctly then yes this should be possible. Can you provide a link to the website so I can take a look.

    Hi Jamie

    Thanks for replying so soon.

The website is in Maintenance mode, so I have sent you the access details for a quick look. I am doing something wrong but for the life of me, I just can’t find the setting to make this work…

    Really hope you can help??

    Kind regards

    Mark

    Hi Mark,

I think you just need to change the path to include portfolio-gallery to get this working.

Let me know if this is what you are looking for :)

    Hi Jamie

    Yes, spot on.

How do I change this in WordPress to read the as your link above? Then I can change the other pages.

Btw, would this link be a problem when setting up the SEO using ‘Yoast?’

    Thanks

    Mark

    I found the link under

Portfolio > Portfolio Galleries > View Alcoves

    http://www.amgbuildingsolutions.co.uk/portfolio-gallery/alcoves/

    &

    http://www.amgbuildingsolutions.co.uk/portfolio-gallery/kitchens/

Do I need to build custom links in the navigation menu in order for this to work?

    Please let me know Jamie

    Thanks

    Mark

    Thanks Jamie

    That’s working fine now.

What did you think about my SEO question or is it not something to be to worried about?

    Cheers

    Hi Mark,

Yes I personally wouldn’t worry too much about the SEO on this one :)
