Hi Jamie & Nick
So, I upgraded a client’s Canvas Theme and Framework last week with no issues and then saw that the portfolio function is being phased out for the recent Projects release.
I’m all for new features, however this means that the option to build a gallery in Portfolio will not be possible using Projects.
I’m stuck here, a lot of my clients website use many images to show their products and services via Portfolio configuration, which means that there is no alternative gallery included in Projects unless you add a Projects gallery, which is simply one picture stacked on top of each other. Is there a way to create a more smooth experience?
I’ve looked at Next Gen and Woo Slider, but the plugins are not what I am looking for to replace the existing portfolio.
I have posted on the ideas forum on Woo Themes and want to ask you Jamie or Nick if you can recommend a work around or even develop a gallery tool for Canvas that is similar to Portfolio being Phased out!
What do you think?

So I had a reply from Ninja Support:
“I wanted to let you know I have brought this to our developers’ attention, so we are looking into potential solutions.
For now though, I’m afraid I don’t have any more suggestions for this, unless you wanted to hire an Expert to recreate the feature in Projects.”
Not much of an answer and no quick fix in the meantime, unless I go through Codeable etc.
Be good to hear what you think? Could be a commercial opportunity to develop an add on to Page Builder?

It would be great to see a live example of the type of portfolio gallery you are looking to recreate. Can you share a link?
