I want to be able to add some css ( { display:none;}) so that the word ‘comments’ and the associated comment count does not show in the site map for the canvas theme under the heading Posts per category.

I had initial looked at doing this through css but have succeeded with the following. If I copy the appropriate php template from my main theme and put it into my child theme folder and modify the php in this then all is good. Is this a good way to do it?

    Hi Mark,

Yes that sounds like it should work,
