    Hello! I am trying to edit the color of info boxes in the Canvas theme. I have added this:

    Customise the color of Info Boxes

    .woo-sc-box.normal {
    background: none repeat scroll 0 0 red;
    border-color: #CCCCCC;
    padding: 9px 15px;
    }

    To the Canvas: custom.css file under here:
    /* GLOBAL STYLES
    —————-
    Add styles beneath this line that you want to be applied across your entire site */

    To no effect. Thoughts on how to change this? thank you!

    Apologies for the delay – could you share a url to the page in question and we’ll try to get you that css :)

    kind regards

    Hi ,

    Try this, replacing red with your own hex color

    .woo-sc-box.info {
    border-color: #ccc;
    background-color: red;
    background-image: none;
    }

    Thanks for getting back to me!

    I added the exact code in custom.css but it did not change the appearance of the box. (I didn’t substitute the correct hex yet to avoid too many variables). Am I adding it in the wrong place?

    Here’s an exact cut and paste:

    Instructions:

    Add your custom styles in this file instead of style.css so it
    is easier to update the theme. Simply copy an existing style
    from style.css to this file, and modify it to your liking. */

    /* GLOBAL STYLES
    —————-
    Add styles beneath this line that you want to be applied across your entire site */

    .woo-sc-box.info {
    border-color: #ccc;
    background-color: red;
    background-image: none;
    }

    Hi Jeanette,

    Could you try putting the code in the new wp customizer css panel instead,

    Click on Customize (in the admin toolbar at the top) , then click on Additional CSS, then paste the code in there,

    Let me know if that works

    Still not working! I deleted from custom css and added to Additional CSS instead.
