Is it possible to adjust the widht of the Storefront page?
thanks MarcoFebruary 14, 2016 at 9:37 pm #30195
You can make it full width if that’s what you mean?
JamieFebruary 14, 2016 at 9:41 pm #30196
No, I would like the text area + menu area (the active area of the page) a little wider.
But I do not know if that is possibleFebruary 17, 2016 at 1:29 pm #30362
I have the same question.
I mean like in Canvas where we easely can set/change the with of the layout, apart
from the full width.
That is something I find is missing in Storefront.

Is there a way to set the width of the layout in Storefront?February 29, 2016 at 5:19 pm #30946
You choices are full width or layout with a sidebar,
You’d need some custom dev if you wanted to change the width to a specific width,
JamieFebruary 29, 2016 at 5:54 pm #30949
Could you help me out telling how to do this?
Is there a css code to do this?
My page is now on full width, but the active page (example a 1 column row) bar is too small as is the menu.February 29, 2016 at 6:22 pm #30952
Love the site – it looks great from this end :)
Sorry i’m still not quite clear on what you’d like to do, as the width looks great from here?

Hi Jamie, thanks!
Still working on it.
But what I would like to do is to increase the width of the content are on the page
(below the orange colored row on the home page)February 29, 2016 at 9:25 pm #30972
What we mean is the same kind of option like we have in Canvas, settings layout, where we can simply drag the width of the content to what we like.
In Storefront its just the homepage full width and no options to change width in other pages content.
AnnieMarch 1, 2016 at 9:43 am #30995
Yes there is no option to do this with Storefront. By default it’s either a page with a sidebar or full width.
JamieMarch 1, 2016 at 10:05 am #30996
Is this not possible by css coding?
This would help me out a lot.
If you look at this new post, the content is much smaller then the menu bar.
I would like it to have the same widthMarch 1, 2016 at 11:22 am #31000
Sorry to barge in, but I can see the other page ( in your storefront ) are nice aligned with the menu, so why is this not happening at the page you refer to: http://sylviabouwer.nl/2016/01/28/wil-je-weten-wat-mijn-nieuwe-plannen-zijn/
Seems to me if storefront aligns it on other pages ( except the homepage which can be set to full widht) why this smaller layout on this one page right?
This webshop is also build with Storefront ( and the Pootlepress Storefront Pro ) and as you can see it is always the same widht on every page?
Did you by any change center the menu on that page? or, if I am not mistaking this is a blog page template? maybe something with the sidebar or setting in the pagebuilder?March 1, 2016 at 11:29 am #31001
You say its or the full width or a page with one column but as you can see here in my Storefront shop: http://logologics.nl/mobiele-kok-shop/faq/
it can be done without a sidebar too?
In the customizer – Content we can choose between two kind of layouts.
However, maybe you would consider adding this option in Storefront Pro ( like in Canvas to be able to change the width to 1500 or whatever suits best?March 1, 2016 at 11:52 am #31002
It is a post/blog template. Also the WP ‘hello world’ post is very small.
I cannot find where to set it the same width as the menu layout.March 1, 2016 at 4:43 pm #31012
OK, to bad it is not possible to adjust the widht of the layout in Storefront.
However I hope it is possible to set the text/content of the blog posts the same widht as menu bar as on all pages.
Maybe you can advise me on that.March 6, 2016 at 12:28 pm #31414
I have been looking to set the width of the blog/posts in Storefront. But cannot find it to set it the same width as the menu. Can you advise on this?
