    Hi Jamie

    The Pootle Pagebuilder Pro looks awesome – is there any difference in functionality between the 18tags pro’s front end drag and drop live designer and Pagebuilder Pro? I am going to buy one of the two in the next 48 hours to redesign my website.

    Thanks

    Thanks Jamie – I am ready when you are…

    Hi Jamie

    I fixed it by… removing and reloading exactly the same featured images – some Gremlin somewhere was clearly just having an off day!

    Thanks

    Hi Jamie

    I went away and had a little play and came up with a good solution that I was happy with. Then last week you sent me (and everyone else) an email showing a sneak peek of Blog Customizer! What I want to do is have a page about an event and then have a row along the bottom of links to three or four pages ‘you might also be interested in…’. Your square post with the title link at the bottom is exactly what I had visualized. I had created this in effect by creating the image in photoshop and then uploading. I prefer your method. You only spend the last couple of seconds on it but presumably I could pull through a unique page id so that I could micro-manage what is shown in each square?
    Also, what is the difference between the Pootle Page Builder and the Canvas Page Builder?

    Thanks
    Rob

    Hi Jaime

    I can’t get the post loop to work. As I am re-building my website I am thinking that instead of migrating the website to a new domain. I am wondering if there a stray bits of CSS around the place and I should have started from scratch. Is there a way I can re-install Canvas/reset all the files to default?

    Also, is there a way for me to see all the topics I have taken part of in the forum? I am sure I have discussed either with you or someone else at Pootlepress about the WooSlider height/width.

    Thanks

    Hi Jamie

    Afraid not. Duncan suggested deactivating all widgets and re-activating. Yep – it was Pootlepress Menu Pack. It must be a setting or something but I am missing it, if it is that.

    Thanks

    Hi Duncan

    How is v2.2.10 of Page Builder coming along?

    Woothemes sent me back to you for support!! I managed to solve the first issue (o longer pulling through 3 out of the 4 images from featured posts). I am hoping that v2.2.10 of Page Builder will solve the second issue (the excerpt text in the slider is dark grey so can’t be read even though the setting is ffffff). This is only in page builder.

    I built a page with a single row added a Woo – component and inserted a magazine slider. I then set the page template to magazine. When I preview I have two slider (weirdly slightly our of sync) but showing the same images. Teh template one has white excerpt text but the page builder one has grey.

    What do you think?

    Thanks

    Hi Jamie

    The answer is… the ‘Expander’ plugin. Works a treat.

    Hi Jamie

    Ha ha – are you copying and pasting that answer? No need to plug Page Builder to me – I’ve bought it and it is great – revolutionized the whole process. Only question now is how do I it… I’ll have to have a play.

    Cheers

    Hi Jamie

    I have Canvas Extension – Menu Customizer Version 2.0.1 installed and active.

    The second menu appears when I activate ‘Pootlepress Menu Pack’ (but ironically does not appear if I activate Pootlepress Menu Double Line’).

    Is the point that I only need one of these activated?

    Thanks

    Hi Jamie
    I am having the same problem as Mark. It doesn’t matter what I set the featured image to Canvas randomly chooses an image from my post (usually lower quality) and uses it in the slider – pixelated hell making my lovely website look amaterish. Any thoughts?
    Thanks

    Hi Jamie

    SOLVED IT!

    Got there in the end theme options/styling & layout/Post More (bottom) Font Style changed to ffffff – all good.

    Thanks

    Jamie

    When the responsiveness is active, on an iPhone/iPad the header looks rubbish and the menu is squashed BUT the dropdown menu does work.

    When I deactivate responsiveness the site looks great on the iPhone/iPad BUT the dropdown menu doesn’t work.

    I thought the above would help but it doesn’t.

    Any thoughts? I launch the site on 1 August and it needs to look good and work well on both desktops and iPhone/iPads.

    Your (quick) help on this would be a real life-saver!

    Thanks

    Hi Jamie

    I just want to remove the comments but leave “continue reading” below the post excerpts.

    .post-meta { display:none; }
    .comments {display:none;}

    This removes everything but so I changed it to:
    .post-meta { display:none; }
    .comments {display:none;}

    This works BUT I am left with an annoying dot after “continue reading”. Any thoughts on how to remove this?

    Thanks

    Hi Jamie

    I had almost given up on adding custom text before category posts), however I came across this:

    On paper it seems to be an answer but I can’t get it to work. Is Canvas not going to play ball?

    Thanks

    Hi Jamie

    I have just followed the video tutorial about inserting copyright notice and privacy policy into the footer and I seem to have no footer. Any thoughts?
