I sent a ticket in last thursday. But I’ll send another in now if it helps.September 18, 2017 at 10:14 am in reply to: Pagebuilder for Canvas V Pagebuilder upgrade issues #44956
Any help on this one would be greatly appreciated….
5. the live editor is not showing all my meta-slider slideshows
6. When I try the back-end editor to add slideshow manually with a shortcode it won’t go full screen
as I can cope with all the other little problems, but this is stopping me getting on… would this work if I bought the pro-version?
Just to let anyone having the same trouble know, Jamie and Shammee got back to me and it’s little bug that’ll be fixed in the next release, but in the meantime you can sort it by unticking ‘make all columns equal’ :) I always hate it when I can see someone has had the same trouble as me and they don’t let you know what happened…. or maybe that’s just me! :)September 13, 2017 at 2:19 pm in reply to: Pagebuilder for Canvas V Pagebuilder upgrade issues #44907
ok… solved so far: –
re: 7 – I’ve worked out that I had missed a closing } on my ccs that’s why it wasn’t picking up the changes in the child theme
re: 1 – apparently there is a small bug that means if you tick the make columns the same height that was causing the variation on the column widths so things weren’t lining up. Until it’s fixed if you are having the same problem just untick that box.September 13, 2017 at 1:30 pm in reply to: Pagebuilder for Canvas V Pagebuilder upgrade issues #44905
add to that …
5. the live editor is not showing all my meta-slider slide shows
6. When I try the back end editor to add slide show manually with a short code it won’t go full screen
7. ccs changes that I’ve made and added to my child theme aren’t showing (only on the second page)
…and I’m losing patience, to be honest… is the pro one any better?
I should also point out, it looks totally fine when viewed in the live edit state.
Is this the company you are talking about : http://www.heartinternet.co.uk? Can I ask, have you had any reason to use their support, and what’s it like? I am looking for a good fast host for a woo-commerce site.
sometimes it’s the really simple answers that elude us… good idea :) wish I could find something a bit slicker, so my client doesn’t have to do it.. but not a bad work round for now. Cheers for answering.
right now it seems that simply placing a new image (quote.png) in the functions/images/ folder of my child theme doesn’t work. The old image still displays. Obviously I don’t want to just replace the one in the canvas directory, as that will get replaced the minute I upgrade. so now I’m a bit lost again. Any ideas anybody?
I can’t believe I missed that… what a wally! anyway thanks Jamie. I can replace an image obviously. Do you think they’ve changed something? or have I put these in using a weird method.. I used the woo shortcode:
my text
I’d love a tutorial on how to use the woo features plugin with canvas. Specifically styling and getting it to do 3 columns… having nightmares trying to work it out on my own and the woo documentation is hopeless on this one.
wouldn’t you know it… I had another go and worked it out. here’s the css that worked in the end when I put it in my child theme custom.css:
Had any thoughts on this? I’m still well and truely stuck trying to work it out
I’m desperately trying to find out how to do this on my primary navigation. I just want a telephone number to the right on my main navigation I’ve so far managed to give a single item a CSS class called ‘menu_tel_right’. But have failed miserably to make it do anything, even change the colour of the text! what am I missing? (I know it’s just about everything :( )
