Thanks Rachael :)
Have you seen the Restrict Content Pro tutorial that I have done – as this does the same thing (only better)

Brilliant, I think I will give this a go.
One quick question – will I be able to get members to sign up without having to pay? I do not want to charge members as the purpose is to make a ‘membership blog’ for work members on the site, this will include staff notices etc that I only want the staff to see.

Yes that should work fine :)

Just setting this up now.
Please could I have the short code to embed the registration form? Unless I have completely missed it, it is not at the bottom of the tutorial?

Here you go :)
I’ve now added to the tutorial,

I didn’t realise I literally just copy that in.
However, mine is not working, it is jut showing the short code i have typed in on the page?
Thanks.February 12, 2014 at 10:29 pm #11457
Can you try putting it in via the text tab (i.e. not the visual tab)

I am now having trouble actually logging in.
When I type in the address in the browser bar, it takes me to the log in page I created yesterday with Restricted Content Pro on the actual website page??
Basically, the WordPress admin screen will not show up and keeps diverting me to the ‘log in’ page I created for the staff on the website itself, meaning that I cannot get into the back end of the site at all.
I have tried another browser and cleared by cache and cookies but still no luck?
Thanks,February 14, 2014 at 4:42 pm #11487
Apologies for the delay – are you still having the issue?
JamieFebruary 14, 2014 at 5:00 pm #11489
That’s OK, yes I am. I have looked it up on line and it has been suggested to delete my Restricted Content Pro plugin through my FTP, however as I paid for it I didn’t want to delete it before I spoke to someone who might know a little bit more about how to fix it?
You can see for yourself… its http://www.primarycarealliances-fgseh.co.uk/wp-admin (it will take you to the log in page I created for the staff log in page)
Effectively – I have locked myself out of my own website! :-P

Yes that sounds about right – you just need to re-install it after you have deleted it and everything should be ok.
I seem to remember there is a setting that if you set to yes it will do this – which if i remember correctly is why you need to add the login page short code in first. Let me know how you go. If you get completely stuck i’ll install on a test site and work through the issue.
