Thank you! That’s really useful. I’m also having a problem with my page headings. When I create a new page (for example Home) I have typed Home in the box at the top. This is then the name of the page that I can insert into the menu bar. In the main text box of the page I have writen ‘Welcome’ and then the text. However, when I publish this, not only is the page called Home on the menu bar but the word Home is also the first heading on the page. I want to get rid of this so the text on the page starts with ‘Welcome’ and only the page name on the menu is called home. Can you help with this please?

    Hi Katherine,

    Good question :)

There are 2 ways to do this

    1) Select the business page template for your home page (if you are using Woothemes Canvas)

    2) Use some custom css to hide the page title .  Take a look at tweak #2 on this post for the code http://www.pootlepress.co.uk/2012/05/woothemes-canvas-css-tweaks.

Thanks! I went for the simple option :-)

Great, just be aware that if  you enable to business template slider then your home page will expect sliders :)
