    Hi Jamie
I don’t know whether this may be too specialised/techie, but I’d like a straightforward guide to the components and structure (including themes, plugins, widgets)that make up a WordPress site. Particularly from the perspective of a website provider to various clients, covering running concurrent projects, transferring from PC to laptop and back so that I can develop at my office but also take a website to clients and tweak it there. PS I’m using XAMPP local install of WordPress.

    Hi Paul,

    I like the idea :)

I’ll have a think about the best way to approach this.

    Thanks Jamie
As well as transfer of site from PC to host, it would handy to know how to transfer site from host to PC for major changes likely to take a while to develop and test, whilst keeping the established version live and available to all.
    Regards Paul
