    Hi Jamie,

    Is it possible to disable the product pages that Woocommerce creates automatically so that I can create my own product pages, please? Given that these are the most important pages I don’t like the fact that I’m constrained by the layout they’ve chosen. For example, that
    – I can’t control the size of the product image;
    – I can’t use bullet points in the short description;
    – I’m forced to put all of the useful information below the fold;
    – The current layout wastes lots of space.

    I like pretty much everything about Woocommerce except the product page itself, so if I could just replace them with my own pages I’d be really happy.

    Thanks

    Hi Chris,

    You would need quite a bit of custom dev to change things in a major way. Do you have a mockup or a website shop that you would like to copy?

    However you can use the Woo Bullet points (click on the little woo icon in the editor).

    Hi Chris,

    Me again :)

    Re fold: It’s quite common now to have long scrolling pages. Research has shown that actually they convert great.

    Here’s a few examples

    Thanks Jamie. I’ve now inserted bullets using the Woo button (I didn’t realise you could use that in the Product Short Description too).

    I see what you mean with Amazon and John Lewis. My concern was that the layout makes it look (at a glance) like the top bit is all the information there is. However, I’ve now added a link which directs people to the bottom section of the page and, with the bullets, it looks much better (http://divorceeasily.co.uk/product/full-financial-guide/).

    Thanks

    Chris
