    …is only visible when we have a post in this specific category. As I need to make the description be visible even if no post is existant. How would you make this possible?

    I have set my categories as menu navigation points and need to make the description be shown.

    This: <?php echo category_description( $category_id ); ?> is not hard to do but where to add it best/secure in the archive.php file?

    Problem is here: (loop-archive.php file)

    woo_loop_before();
    if (have_posts()) { $count = 0;

    Can I substitute the “have_posts” with something usefull in this case?

    Is that too confusing or too simple? Strange that is there is no reply after that long time.

    Sorry for delay – could you clarify why you want to show a category when you have no posts in the category? Trying to understand what you are looking to achieve?

    Hi Jamie,

    thx for the reply.

    The category is a navigation menu point and I need the description of the category be shown on screen when the navigation menu point is clicked.

    Kai
