Hi, Finally finished the website and now I need to add a little more to it. Its basically an Academic Conference website where people can register to join one of the conferences on offer. Once they input their information they can choose to either be invoiced which we will then send them an email or they can pay online.

I was wondering if you could advise me on the best way of doing this, would a simple form (we use Premium Gravity Forms) and then a payment system, or is it better to use a booking plugin of some sort?

Also can you advise on the best payment taking system to use?

    Thank you

    Angie

    Hi Angie,

It really depends how many conference you run – how many do you run?

At the moment 19 per year. So I am thinking that it is better to just have a form rather than a booking system. I guess what I am more interested to understand is the taking payment If I have a form that has a button to pay or to submit and receive an invoice at a later date, what would be the best plugins for that, I have Gravity Forms, but I will need some sort of payment system, or do the payment systems provide a form for you to put on the website in which case is there even an option to pay later? Sorry for the newbie questions, but I am not quite sure the best solution

    Hi Sue,

Ok I would use Gravity forms and the paypal add on http://www.gravityforms.com/add-ons/paypal/

    It works really well :)
