    Hello
I have been experiencing an intrusion whereby words on my websites have suddenly become links to other websites. (These have not been set by me).

Also in general browsing, (not my websites), unwanted advertisements keep appearing.

Within the past 2 days, I installed WooCommerce to practice with the features of that product. To my amazement advertisements of body building appeared across the top of the page. This has not happened with websites I have been working on before.

Does anyone know an effective way to deal with this problem please.

    Thanks

    Hi Kath,

This is generally caused by something that has been installed on your browser – often through add ons in the browser. I would disable any add ons in your browser and see if this solves things.
