    I made SM part of the menus as buttons. Then I’m using this code which places the links into the nav, but the icons aren’t showing.

    /* Twitter Icon */
    .menu-twitter {
    text-indent: -9999px;
    background-image: url:(http://uxbootcamps/wp-admin/images/twitter-icon.png) !important;
    background-repeat: no repeat !important;
    margin-left: 100px !important;
    width: 50px;
    }

    .menu-twitter a:hover {
    background: #e6e6e6 !important;
    }

    Thanks Jamie!

    Hi Victoria,

    An easier way would be to use font awesome icons as the social media links – our Canvas menu customizer plugin has font awesome support built in.

    Let me know if that makes sense,

    Jamie
