The problem I have is since I put the woo subscription it has changed from ‘don’t have a paypal account’ to create a paypal account. Is there a way to have a subscription without a paypal account or do I need to get Paypal pro?

Sorry I don’t quite understand. Are you talking about the Admin settings or the user journey?

Yep your users will need a paypal account to set up the recurring payment.

I’ve had all sorts of problems with Woocommerce. I was trying to get subscriptions set up with Woosubsciption but didn’t work
Now I just want to use Woocommerce and Paypal Standard.
The issue is now when I go to check out it gives me this message:
The Connection is Untrusted
I’d really appreciate your help to fix this as causing major headaches receiving payments, paying tutors etc…

I’m not sure if you had a chance to look. It’s possible it wasn’t on there before. Can you delete the previous post with login details.
It’s back on.

Did you manage to have a look at the paypal store and the problem I mentioned in earlier post?

I’ve been having probs with processing payments through website.
Please go to http://www.adrianbeckett.co.uk/hire-tutor/, once you get to the check out page, it won’t let you put your card details.
I’ve set up a test product ‘adrian1’.
The probs started because I tried to enable woo subscriptions and I had problems with that and decided I don’t need it in the end.
Right now I need payments to go through site using Paypal Standard and for there to be two options pay 1) with paypal 2) without a paypal account and with credit card instead.
ThanksJanuary 15, 2014 at 10:19 am #10749
The credit card details should be entered via Paypal whichever option the user chooses. Your customers can pay as a guest via paypal with any credit or debit card – without having a paypal account.
You don’t want customers to enter credit card details on your own site because then you will need to go through many loops to get compliance because you will be handling their credit card details on your servers.
Does that make sense?

I wasn’t clear.
I want it all through Paypal.
The issue is that it throws up an error message at the last stage of the checkout process meaning you can’t make a payment. For a couple of weeks, customers haven’t been able to make payments via the site.
Can you help?
