I have a website little-Vikings.co.uk – it’s for families living in and visiting York. As such we have a what’s on section. You can imagine it gets hit pretty hard at the start of each school holiday. We received a ‘direct’ email from a mother pointing out that the dates were wrong on the website. She was in fact looking at last year’s posts.
We have been keeping old posts since we started to bolster the content and for SEO reasons. Is there any advantage to keeping these older posts from a Google perspective?
Good question – from a SEO point of you they might drive some nice traffic. So one option is that you could update them – how about a para near the top that points visitors to the latest post on this topic.
