Is managing Contributors and Authors hard enough!
You spend all this time creating a beautiful wordpress paradise only to have some ham fisted centre justified bold italic font junkie of a Contributor come along and make a complete dogs dinner of it all.

A site is nothing without fresh content but how do you manage these folk? How do you explain that CAPITALS are like shouting and centre justified text went out with the Amstrad? Dont get me started on image size, these kind people think nothing of uploading a 3mb image for good measure.

For now Ive restricted there access until I can think of a new plan.

    Hi Jake,

One way is to restrict the tools they have :)

You could get them to submit content via a form (gravity forms has this functionality) . This would restrict their content to just plain old text if you want.

I was thinking of removing there hands, there like tools right?
That would slow down there centre justified nonsense a bit :)
Anyway Ive had a discussion with the webmaster (thats me) and the overwhelming decision was to halt all so called contributors until further notice.
I think they should at least sit a test before muddying up the clear calm waters I create.
