    Hi Jamie,

I am having some serious headaches trying to get my site to go live. ie. changing it from a .co.uk/wordpress to live on the web and findable under the normal url. Do you have any video tutorials for this? or are there any easy to understand ones elsewhere?
I’m really dissappointed because I thought I would be able to get a site live after the course but I’ve spent days trying to figure things out.

    Hi James,

It looks like you have installed WordPress in a sub-directory. I advise against this (on the course and in the Essentials tutorial) so you don’t face the issue you are having.

However you can fix things by following the steps here. It might look a bit daunting but actually it only takes a couple of minutes.

You need to follow the steps outlined under where it says “Using a pre-existing subdirectory install”

I’ll also try to get a video tutorial done in the next couple of days :)

    Jamie
