    Hi

I am running a site using ‘Definition’, a woo theme which incorporates a slider on the front page. I have added four slides and it is up and running. However above each slide the title is displayed. I don;t want to see the titles.

I cannot see any options in the theme options or slideshow settings to eliminate this. Would it be a question of adding custom css? If so can you take mercy on me and tell me what to add?

I have a screencast showing the issue if that helps at all:

    Hi Nic,

Love the video – thanks for taking the time to put it together.

Yep you’ll need some css. Have you seen my css for beginners tutorial. If after watching it you still need help let me know :)

I’ve watched the css training videos and I’m absorbing them – i.e. I get it but don’t completely get it yet.

I used firebug to isolate as suggested, then read comments about a similar issue.

This seemed just what I needed but it hasn’t worked form me.

    Any clues please?

Thanks and apologies, the css HAS worked. It just took a minute or two to take effect for some reason (I did refresh several times). I even had the site with titles in Chrome and without in Firefox for a short while. But the titles are now universally absent.

    Thank you :)
