    Hi Jaimie,

I work alongside a colleague as a tour guide, during the summer. His present web designer is looking to move back into employment and won’t find time to upkeep his site and I’m happy that I can rebuild his site in WordPress using Canvas, hopefully building responsiveness in as I go and refreshing it. At present it looks five years old, because it’s, well, five years old. He’s added stuff as his brand has grown, but it’s left his home page cluttered and I’ll clean that up for him.

Most of what he’s got on here, I’m happy I can replicate. However I’m a little flummoxed as to how I can have his figure overlaying the header and creeping down the sidebar. Any ideas how this can be achieved?

I’d also be looking to replace the static header with a scrolling image and might try to split the site so that a percentage of hits carry his image and a percentage carry mine. I’d be delighted to hear any ideas you might have about this.

His site is: http://www.edinburghtourguide.co.uk/ and you can see my page within here

    Aye

    Cam
