I’d like to see a tutorial on how to set up Google Authorship on Canvas. I’m in the midst of trying to do it (I’ve been at this 3 days), and I’m down to 1 error.

Automatically detected author name on webpage: Not Found.

The bottom of the “Structured Data Testing Tool” is also saying the following. My hope is that if I can fix these, the 1 error will get fixed. I’ve seen dozens of tutorials on how to fix these, but they want me to edit code for the_title, the_author, and the_time. I can’t find these anywhere in the Canvas files. A step-by-step would be great!

    Thanks,
    Tracy

    Hi Tracey,

Yes I believe this is an issue with the current version of Canvas – are you using the Yoast Seo plugin to input your google profile info?

I’m using the Yoast SEO plugin. After my post here on Pootlepress, I installed the Authorsure plugin. I now see classes for “updated” and “author” when I “View Source” on my website. (http://www.niftywebdesigns.com/) Hopefully it’ll work if/when I figure out the “entry-title” part of that hatom error.
