We are currently testing the water and building a website for a client using the Canvas theme and so far, almost, so good.

That said, we have had a couple of issues with the font and colour styling of links and text in the footer.

Canvas lets you choose the colour styling of all links, for hover, active, clicked etc but the problem we have is that the background colour of the footer is the same as the normal colour style of the links therefore they are hidden until you hover over them.

So is there a way of styling the links/text of the widgets and footer separately instead of together?

Additionally we have managed to set a different font family for the links using the custom CSS stylesheet, however can’t seem to change the font for the text.

Is there a special bit of CSS code that will sort this?

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
