Is there any way I can delete the page title from appearing at the top of my text block ie word HOME. Also how do I reduce the padding around this text?

    Thank you
    Beth

    Hi Beth,

You can either do with some custom css – here’s 2 tutorials. Or with our page customizer plugin.

    1) http://jamiemarsland.wpengine.com/2013/06/65-tips-tricks-and-css-tweaks-for-woothemes-canvas/#pagetitlespecific

    2) http://jamiemarsland.wpengine.com/css-beginners/

    Hope that helps,

    Thanks Jamie,

The tutorials are very helpful however, When i try and download jetpack i get this message: Destination folder already exists. /web1/user44152/website/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/

And when i download it from the site and upload the zip file it says its too large a file!

Is the page customizer by Canvas or pootle? I’ve looked for it and can’t find it!

And lastly, If I just want to copy the code into my .css file how do I know where to put it?
    Thank you Beth

    Hi Beth,

It sounds like you already have jetpack installed – can you check if it’s listed in your plugins?

Once activated jetpack has a CSS module where you put your code.

No its not in my plugins – that’s whats weird and if i try to download it from the .zip file wp says its too large! Which seems to be a recurring problem with my site at the moment!!

I know jetpack has the css module but I was wondering how I do it as I can’t get jetpack at the moment.

    Thanks
    Beth

    Hi Beth,

This is normally a restriction that you hosting has put on your upload limited.

There is a way for you to increase this – but in the first instance I would raise a support ticket with them and ask them to increase the upload limit for you,

Let me know how you get on,

    Jamie
