I’m trying to use some of these great code available on your website by inputting them into the CSS page (which I find under Appearance > Edit CSS. now that I have activated Jetpack), but their not working.
What am I doing wrong. The theme is Canvas.

    Hi Nick,

Sometimes this is a caching issue – ie the changes aren’t being seen on your site.
Could you clear the cache on your browser and see if that fixes things. If not let me know the code – it might be that the latest version of Canvas handles things differently.

    Hi Jamie,
To be honest I cant get any of them to work, which is why I assume it is my fault not your codes!
I have now deleted all my cookies and caches files and images and I still have the same problem.
As an experiment I have used the ‘remove header’ code #header { display: none; } but to no avail.
The only code that has done something is the add search box to primary menu, but the result was catastrophic! completely sent my homepage haywire. This particular code involved adding code to Function.php file too, which I did in the correct area at the bottom.
