    Hi Jamie,

    I am trying to centre the main menu in canvas. Now, I know nothing about css but I did see your css tweaks so I thought I would give it whirl. I put this in custom css and replaced ‘400’ with ‘centre’:

    #main-nav {
    float: none;
    margin: 0 auto;
    width: 400px;
    }

    Now absolutely nothing has happened. now, am I supposed to put other code in custom css or is this a stand alone?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Rebecca,

    Here is the new code from WooThemes (although I have tested this yet!)

    #navigation {
    position: relative;
    }
    #main-nav {
    clear: left;
    float: left;
    list-style: none;
    margin: 0;
    padding: 0;
    position: relative;
    left: 50%;
    text-align: center;
    }
    .nav li {
    display: block;
    float: left;
    list-style: none;
    margin: 0;
    padding: 0;
    position: relative;
    right: 50%;
    }
    .nav li:hover, .nav li.hover {
    position: relative;
    }
    .nav li ul li {
    left: 0;
    }

    Hi Jamie,

    I tried it but nothing happened. I think there is something wrong with my custom stylesheet as no code works on it.

    Also, I seem to only have the html view on my pages and posts editor…very strange

    Hi,

    Can you try clearing your cache on your browser as this is most likely why you are not seeing the changes.

    re html view: do you have a visual tab in the editor screen ?

    Jamie

    Yes that worked. Thanks.

    re html view – correct, there is no visual tab in the editor.

    Hi,

    Great :)

    Re HTML view. Check this isn’t turned off. To do this go and look at your profile.

    Go to Dashboard/ Users / Then click edit under your profile name. In the profile screen there is an option to disable to visual editor. Make sure this isn’t disabled.

    Jamie
