    Hi Jamie,

I need to upgrade Canvas and am having some trouble.

When I log onto my woo themes account it does not have any evidence that I have bought canvas, therefore, I cannot update it. I have tried other email addresses in case I accidentally set up two account but this does not seem to be the problem.

Would I of had to have bought Canvas directly from Woo Themes or could I have bought it any other way, i.e through Pootlepress? And if this is the case, how do I update it? I obliviously bought it somewhere to be able to use it on website I have made?

    Thanks,

    Rachael

    Hi Rachel,

Yep to upgrade you’ll need to have bought it from WooThemes (or buy it now)

    Hi Jamie,

Thanks for getting back to me.

How come I need to buy it again when I have already bought it? I am confused! Lol?

    Hi Rachel,

If you’ve bought it then you won’t have to buy it again, but you’ll need to contact woothemes about this :)

    Hi Jamie,

I have sorted out the problem with Woo Themes.

I now need to upgrade my canvas theme. How do I do this please – I am having trouble? Do I have to do each site individually as I have about 4 sites using canvas.

    Thanks,

    Rachael

    Hi Rachel,

Yep you’ll need to do each site separately,

Thanks Jamie, I have done this.

My site now looks like this: http://portsmouthsailtrainingtrust.org/wp/

Any idea why I have the colon dots under the slider or how I can get rid of them?

Also, I don’t suppose you know why I have /wp/ after the domain name do you?

    Thanks,

    Rachael

    Hi Jamie,

Sorted out the /wp/ problem now but still no clue as to why I have the dots under the slider.

    Thanks,

There is an option in slider settings to turn off pagination for the sliders,

    Just untick this,

    Hi Jamie,

The pagination is not on anyway?

    What else could it be?

    Thanks

Does the Canvas upgrade not have a height customisation option? It is missing from the options? This could fix the issue?

    Hi Rachel,

Nope the sliders will flex the size you have put them in – so you need to make them the right height before you upload :)

    Hi Lesley,

You could use some custom css to hide the pagination, but really if you’ve got it turned off in slider settings it should be showing.

I have just tested it as I was having other Slider issues after many months of trouble free Business Pages. When I un-ticked the pagination box the dots went as I would expect.
