I have Canvas set for 2 columns. I want content to be around 750px and sidebar to be around 210. I’ve set the site width in Canvas to be 960. On the layouts tab, I set content to ~79% and sidebar to ~21%. But it’s not working. Content column is smaller and sidebar is larger. I do have boxed layout enabled, but tried it without and it didn’t make much difference. This is a clean new site, no custom php or css yet (except some css in the sidebar widgets). I have lots of images that are up to 720px wide and none are displaying correctly; most are being resized so they are too small to read (they are screenshots) but others (like a highlight box) is coded for 700px wide and I really don’t want to have to find all those and change them. Help? Thanks in advance.

    Hi Jan,

Are you using the latest version of Canvas?

Hi Jamie…yes, it’s 5.9.3 and the Framework is 6.1.2. Thank you!

    Hi Jan,

That sounds like a bug and so probably one for Woo support. I would take out the custom css in the widgets first to double check they aren’t causing the issue before you report it to woo.

Let me know how you go :)

Thanks so much. I did remove the widgets with the css but to no avail. Reported to Woo. Thanks again.

Hi Jamie, just getting back with you re what support said. “You can alter the images under Admin > Canvas > Settings > Dynamic images. There you can set the rich dimensions.” Apparently you change some thumbnail settings and regenerate and that might fix all the images…but I have no trust in that solution. And that doesn’t fix my highlight boxes that are coded to 700px. C’est la vie. Thanks again. Jan

    Hi Jan,

Another way to get your columns would be to use our PageBuilder for Canvas :)
