    Hi,

I’m running Canvas v5.1.3 with a standard header of 982 x 179 pixels.  The header displays properly in Explorer but in Chrome the header seems to be too wide for the page and is cropped in all four directions (even if the window is maximised)

I’ve also noticed that viewing the site on a mobile the header is cropped even more, the menu bar disappears and a thick black line appears under the slider pagination.

    Here’s the url  http://www.trcyclerepairs.co.uk/

The site is still under construction but any advice would be much appreciated, Thanks in advance, Richard

    Hi Richard,

I’ve just tested on a demo site and it’s not cropping in Firefox – but you’re live site is. Can you double check you have site width set to at least 980 in theme options.

Thanks for a quick reply Jamie.

Site width is 980, header image is 982 x 179 and header padding left/right is zero.

I can’t think what else it could be.

I’m tempted to build another ghost site using canvas and the same header image to see if the problem exists there too.

    Hi Richard,

Yes I should build another test website as it should be working ?

Let me know how you go,
    Jamie
