have gone back to the beginning with the web site and have got over a lot of the issues I was having. However I have loaded the bbpress plugin and created a new forum as shown in your tutorial and published it. I then View the Forum and it looks fine however when I key in the URL with websitename/forums/ the page does not appear to have any links as it does in your tutorial and it is also showing that Comments Are Closed. When I added the URL as a custom page it will still not let me do replies – any thoughts?
Nb I have loaded Canvas before installing bbpress and wondered if I should have done it the other way round.

I’ve just taken a look at your site and I’m getting a 404 error when i look at /forums. Could you confirm the url again please (for the site). There is a problem with Canvas and BBPress but there is a fix (that I will put up today on the tips and tricks section) but first we need to get the forum showing?

Hi Jamie have sent the details to your email address
Is there anything you can do about the pages still showing a navigation to the next page. Stopped using a custom permalink but it is still not working and driving me up the wall.

you are brilliant thanks for the tips and tricks it sorted the bbpress issue. I presume Canvas will correct the issue in the next version :-)
Still can’t stop the links at the bottom of the pages showing though.

The links at the bottom are very odd (i’ve never seen this in Canvas before). Did you let me know who is hosting your site?

I’ve taken a quick look at easynetsite and my view is that this may be causing your problems with your wordpress website. Ideally I recommend you use some-one like heartinternet.co.uk.

the problems seem to have happened since a new server was installed and the website transferred over. Easynetsite support has been great and they are hoping to sort the issue in the next couple of days. Have to say my lack of technical ability hasn’t helped matters much and this has been a real learning curve but fantastic none the less as is the academy.
Also seen Dean’s request for a tutorial on membership and would fully endorse it.
