Any idea why I am getting an ‘Error 404 message – Page Not Found’ when I click on my example post in my Forum? I have followed the video tutorial and cannot see what I have done differently?
Also, this Forum should be part of the members only page using my Restricted Content Pro plugin.. however I do not charge for this, customers just have to be a member that I have agreed to. I have updated the page to tick it to membership viewing only but I am not 100% sure if it has worked?
The website this is for is: http://www.primarycarealliances-fgseh.co.uk and this is the page I am having trouble with: http://www.primarycarealliances-fgseh.co.uk/staff-forum/

Yes it looks like the membership protection for the forum is working – i.e i can’t see it.
It’s a bit difficult to diagnose your 404 error as I can’t see the forum.
As a first step you could try resaving your permanlinks.

No, permalinks have not fixed the problem.
However, I now have this message:
“The following active BuddyPress Components do not have associated WordPress Pages: User Groups, Members.”
So I click ‘repair’ and it gives me the options:
Associate a WordPress Page with each BuddyPress component directory.”
With the options “Activity Streams, User Groups and Members” (I can select the pages.) At the moment, no pages are selected… is this my problem?

Still having problems with this although I have started from your video tutorial 3 times now. I have taken the page off membership protection now hopefully you will be able to see what I have done wrong.

I’ve just taken a look at this and it looks like it’s working fine?
Is that the forum?

Any luck with this, or am I just not understanding it?
I am still getting this message across the top of my dashboard:
The following active BuddyPress Components do not have associated WordPress Pages: Activity Streams, User Groups, Members. Repair
I wonder if I have not set it up properly?

Is anyone else able to assist me on this, really struggling?May 26, 2014 at 5:47 pm #13458
Could you try switching themes (to a non woo theme) for a few minutes and see if that fixes the problem – then we’ll know where the issue is.
Let me know how you go,

No still the same problem with a different theme?

Oh that’s a shame. It’s looking like something else is going on which is a bit hard to diagnose via the forum. It might need some-one to spend a bit of time going through things to find the issue. If you want to book some dev time let me know.
