    Hi there!

Is there an easy way to back-up the website and database? I have tried the ‘export’ function but this only seems to do the post/pages (viz. html) so is there a Plug-In that is recommended or am I missing something obvious ref. the SQL?

NB: I am using 1&1 Internet and there DB back-up is not very helpful…

I’m keen to find something ASAP as I installed a plug in that totally messed up one of my sites yesterday and I’ve just had to totally rebuild it :O(

    Many thanks!!!

    Hi Nigel,

There are 2 options I recommend and use http://vaultpress.com and http://ithemes.com/purchase/backupbuddy/.

    Hope that helps :)

    Jamie
