    Hi Jamie

I’ve installed one of the child themes. I’ve activated but it says I need the parent theme Canvas. When I activate that, it then switches to Canvas but I don’t think the child theme is then activated.

    Can you help?

I’m still stumped with this. I have latest version of Canvas. Installed the zip file as a new theme. Then what?

    Hi,

You activate the child theme, but need the parent theme installed :)

When you say activate the child theme. Do this mean I upload it as a theme? or do something else instead?

I go to appearance – themes. canvas is the theme in the central top part. The child theme is an available theme underneath.

When I switch it so that child theme is central in top part. The message reads:

This child theme requires its parent theme, Canvas.

Ok that sounds like a problem – which Child Theme are you attempting to activate?

    Hi Adrian,

There was no child theme in your themes so I have just uploaded for you.

Also you need to delete the duplicate version of canvas you have installed. i.e the older version.

    Jamie
